Senior Accountant – Bring your expertise to Icotera

Icotera are looking for an experienced and independent Senior Accountant to join the finance team in Glostrup. In this role, you will take ownership of key financial processes and play a vital part in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across our entities in Denmark and Poland.

As Senior Accountant, you will be trusted with responsibility. You will work closely with management and your colleagues in both Denmark and Poland, contributing with your strong accounting expertise, structured approach, and ability to keep an overview – even when things are busy.

This position reports to the Finance Manager.

Your responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality monthly and annual financial statements
  • Lead statutory reporting and coordinate audits for Icotera’s entities
  • Oversee bookkeeping and reconciliations (debtors, A/R, A/P, GL)
  • Manage sales invoicing, revenue recognition, and payroll (in cooperation with our provider)
  • Ensure timely VAT reporting and compliance with authorities
  • Consolidate financials across the group
  • Handle bank payments and corporate credit card administration
  • Drive improvements, digitalization, and automation of processes
  • Act as a trusted financial partner to management and stakeholders

Your profile

  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles in an international environment
  • Strong analytical skills, eye for detail, and structured way of working
  • Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines while keeping an overview
  • Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central is an advantage)
  • Strong communication skills in both Danish and English
  • A professional, pragmatic approach – combined with the ability to collaborate and support colleagues across teams
