Business Controller to DAFA, Brabrand

Driving financial decisions and digitalization
You will be reporting to the CFO, while you share responsibility for driving and developing business controlling across sales, operations, and production. You will act as a key sparring partner, ensuring that strategic and operational decisions are made on a solid data foundation. At the same time, you will help develop and support the other controllers in the finance team without formal leadership responsibility.

You will play a central role in DAFA’s ongoing digitalization and automation of the finance area. Through BI solutions, data analysis, and process optimization, you will contribute to creating a more agile, efficient, and data driven decision making foundation. You will have the freedom to challenge existing processes and implement new digital tools that enhance insight and business value.

Your primary responsibilities

• Drive and further develop the company’s business controlling function
• Prepare and analyze KPIs, and support and validate forecasts and budgets
• Translate data into clear business insights and recommendations
• Support strategic decision making through financial analyses and scenario modelling
• Act as an active sparring partner for the CFO and business units
• Drive the digitalization and automation of reporting and analytical tools
• Ensure data quality and develop KPIs and reporting
• Participate in cross-functional strategic projects

Business-oriented Controller with a digital mindset
We imagine that you have solid experience as a Business Controller, preferably from a manufacturing company with international operations. You are confident in your expertise and thrive in a role where you inspire and support fellow Business Controllers, without formal leadership responsibilities. You are proactive and have a strong business acumen, combining it with analytical insight to deliver well-founded analyses and decision support. You are used to working data-driven, creating insight, and enjoy an environment with many touchpoints and close collaboration both globally and locally.

In addition, you have

• A relevant education such as cand.merc.aud., HD-R, or similar
• Experience with digitalization and automation of financial processes supporting a growth strategy
• Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems
• A natural curiosity about new technologies and methods
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders
• Fluency in Danish and English both written and spoken
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset
