TotalEnergies is looking for an experienced Aviation Lead to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient aviation services across our offshore installations in the Danish North Sea.

In this role, you will be the operational focal point for helideck activities, helicopter refueling, and offshore drone operations. Your Responsibilities as Aviation Lead

  • Coordinate helicopter refueling operations and ensure full compliance with fuel quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain the operational framework for offshore drone activities, including required authorizations.
  • Coordinate drone operations (environmental monitoring, inspections, filming) with internal stakeholders and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with Danish airspace and drone regulations and maintain dialogue with relevant authorities.
  • Support audits, risk reviews, incident investigations, and continuous improvement within QMS/SMS together with the Aviation Quality Manager & Aviation Safety Manager.
  • Maintain and develop aviation documentation and systems (Helideck Manual, Jet Fuel Manual, Drone Manual, IQSMS training/implementation).
  • Manage key interfaces with Trafikstyrelsen, helicopter operators, OIMs, TEPDK departments, TTE HQ Aviation, and drone service providers.

Your Qualifications

We imagine that you have several years of relevant aviation experience and a strong knowledge of Danish aviation regulations (BL series) and applicable EU requirements and the related standards, including CAP 437, ICAO Annexes, JIG, EASA and experience with North Sea helideck standards and offshore aviation operations.

Furthermore, you can recognize yourself in the following:

  • Understanding of helicopter performance, limitations, and operational risk controls.
  • Knowledge of aviation fuel systems and fuel quality compliance.
  • Knowledge of Danish drone regulations and operational procedures.

It is an advantage if you also bring:

  • Experience with weather assessment, operational decision‑making, and emergency response.
  • Experience working within QMS/SMS frameworks, including audits and compliance monitoring.
  • Strong communication skills and sound judgement.
  • Change‑management experience and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Leadership experience or interest in future people‑management responsibilities.
  • Fluency in Danish and English (written and spoken).
