Process Systems Specialist

Would you like to design and optimize process solutions around advanced filtration systems used across the global process industry?

Simatek A/S are looking for a Process Systems Specialist who will play a key role in developing and integrating their filter systems into customers’ process plants – while contributing to the technical direction of future designs.

About the Role

As a Process Systems Specialist, you will be a key player in developing the processes surrounding Simatek’s filtration equipment. You will work closely with colleagues in both Denmark and India and take on a broad role where you contribute technically to projects, engage in customer dialogues, and help shape future design principles.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Designing and optimizing process solutions around filter systems, including upstream and downstream process steps
  • Developing process flow diagrams and P&IDs
  • Ensuring designs meet hygienic, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Providing technical support to Sales and Proposal teams
  • Collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, and Product Owners to ensure cost-effective and manufacturable solutions
  • Contributing to R&D projects and the development of new process configurations
  • Participating in technical meetings with customers and presenting process solutions
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation, design guidelines, and application notes
  • Helping define future standards and best practices for process design at Simatek

About You

You are an experienced process engineer who thrives at the intersection of process understanding, mechanical design, and system integration. You hold a relevant degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering and have at least 10 years of experience within process design – ideally from companies that develop or supply equipment to the process industry.

You have a solid understanding of process engineering and experience working with heat exchangers, conveyors, airflows, and thermal processes. You are able to translate customer requirements into practical and reliable technical solutions, and you take natural ownership of the quality of your work.

As a person, you are structured and analytical, yet curious and innovative. You enjoy collaborating across disciplines and cultures. Experience with filtration technologies is a strong advantage, but equivalent experience from related process areas is also relevant. You are fluent in English; Danish is an advantage but not a requirement.

Working at Simatek

At Simatek, you will join an international company that designs and manufactures advanced filtration systems for the global process industry. You will receive thorough onboarding covering Simatek’ products, processes, and colleagues – and you will become part of a team where technical knowledge sharing and collaboration are integral to the daily work.

Simatek offers a flexible work environment modern facilities at the office in Albertslund. Your compensation package will reflect your experience and qualifications, including a pension scheme and approximately 25–30 travel days per year.

Simatek gives you the opportunity to influence both technical and organizational development. Simatek values initiative, professionalism, and the drive to create improvements – and you will have the freedom to shape your own role and contribute to how Simatek designs process solutions for the future.
