Group Procurement Manager at DAFA in Brabrand

On behalf of DAFA, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious procurement leader who can define the direction of strategic sourcing and deliver results in a growing and transforming company.

DAFA Group is a well-established international company that develops and produces solutions for sealing, protection, and absorption serving industries such as construction and manufacturing. With headquarters in Brabrand and production facilities in Denmark, Italy, Poland, and China, DAFA is a global player with strong growth ambitions and a clear focus on sustainable solutions.

Strategy, Leadership, and Procurement Optimization
Reporting to the Group COO, you will be responsible for defining and implementing a new group procurement strategy for DAFA. You will ensure that the strategy is translated into concrete initiatives that result in an effective, sustainable, and competitive procurement function.

You will lead a global procurement team of eight employees based in Denmark, Poland, and China and act as a “hands-on leader,” actively involved in key negotiations while developing and motivating your team.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Defining and implementing a modern procurement strategy with a focus on both operational and strategic sourcing
• Developing sourcing strategies across the supplier base in Europe and Asia
• Driving and facilitating various projects, including cost-out initiatives to achieve savings without compromising quality or delivery
• Optimizing supply chain performance through KPIs such as delivery reliability, inventory turnover, and deadstock reduction
• Providing visible and inspiring leadership that strengthens collaboration across cultures and locations
• Supporting data-driven decision-making through ERP systems (AX2012) and Power BI

Modern Procurement Leader with Strategic and Operational Expertise
We are looking for a modern, data-driven, and action-oriented procurement leader who can think strategically while executing effectively. You are experienced in managing complex negotiations and achieving results through clear and inspiring leadership that motivates your team to follow your direction.

We imagine that you have:

• A relevant academic degree (e.g., MSc in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent)
• Solid experience in strategic procurement, preferably from industrial companies with a global supply chain
• Experience leading across cultures and managing remote teams
• Strong negotiation skills and the confidence to set direction and challenge the status quo
• Excellent communication skills in Danish and English, with the ability to build trust at all levels - German is an advantage
• Experience working data-driven in ERP systems and using BI tools
• Strong personal drive, impact, and the ability to engage and motivate your team

You should expect approximately 30–50 travel days per year, primarily within Europe.
